Opening night photos from "Dancing with the
Local Stars" Season 3.
Local celebrities and experienced dancers performed in front of a sold out crowd
in the
Augustus Ballroom at Ceasars Windsor on Tuesday, March 1, 2011.
The show was the first of four and was organized by the
"Better World Today Association" as part of their fundraising efforts.
Stars are paired up with semi professional ballroom dancers the
first show starts on Tuesday March 1, 2011
The judges and audience will vote on who they want to go further.
The stars are from Toronto, Michigan, and Windsor. They range from
Actors, Actress to radio and TV hosts.
We will have musical entertainment at a 20 min intermission.
Cash Bar is available.
Children are welcomed. Your children do not have to worry about missing any of our shows!
Everyone can use the hotel entrance on the west side of McDougall Avenue
between Pitt and Chatham Streets. Children will have to be accompanied
by an adult to enter the building and watch the show.

Hi Everyone,
What a great show we had again for series #2 on April 3rd. All the dancers
were amazing, and the best news of all... 72 people signed up to be on the
Bone Marrow Registry by doing a simple mouth swab. We would like to thank
the Katelyn Bedard
Bone Marrow Association for coming out to do the swabs. If you didn't

Local Stars competition to benefit Bone Marrow awareness.
The event takes
place Tuesday, March 11 at Caesars Windsor. Tickets are $15 and the show

A high school teacher, a jeweler, a psychiatrist and Windsorites
from just about every other walk of life are coming together with
partners to compete on the dance floor. Dancing with the Local Stars
is in its third year of production. Organizer Ron Giles started the
competition as a way to help get the word out about the bone marrow
registry.
The first round will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the
Augustus ballroom at Caesars Windsor. Tickets can be purchased
online at ticketscene.ca or you can call 519-945-8888 for more
information.
