Gordana Mladenovic Gordana is a driven and devoted photographer, always up for a new challenge. Through her own artwork and education, she has developed a strong hand for craftsmanship, attention to detail, creative thinking, problem solving, and self-motivation. As a result of continuous learning and professional development, she has focused more on people photography and if given a choice, her goal in people photography is to link her subject to his or her life, work or activities. By setting a person in context of what they do, the photo gives more information and becomes a truth-telling passionate mini-story. Gordana is an introvert when unarmed by her camera but put that magic wand in her hands, and she feels free to walk up to strangers, compliment them, trespass in their yards, sneak in their grass, offer unsolicited opinions. The camera in her hands becomes a bridge that connects, a prompt to share what is similar in us, any given stranger and herself. And that connectedness is a little seed of universal love. She grew up in Sarajevo (ex Yugoslavia, now Bosnia) and is still growing up in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Gordana’s previous history with BWTA’s Dancing with the Local Stars is taking the promotional photos for advertising and online publications while following her dancing wonder of a husband Ned in his performances. "A good dancer is one who makes you see the music." -Unknown. That is why as a photographer, trying to see and share what she sees, dancing is a pleasure to witness. |
